A family of 10 persons affected during a outbreak. The family belonged to a lower middle class, residing from Delhi. They had complaints of insidious onset of diarrhoea, vomiting, swelling and tenderness of legs, fever and fatigue for past 1 month. None of the persons in neighbouring households complained of similar illness. It was found that the family was using mustard oil from a local vendor for the past 1 month. Which is the contaminant and the toxin responsible for the above symptoms?

a)lathyrus sativa and BOAA
b)crotalaria and sanguinarine
c)argemone oil and pyrrolizidine alkaloids
d)argemone oil and sanguinarine.
