Yes !! You r absoulety right! What would be the answer?
I guessed internal acoustic meatus and foramen ovale which turned out to be wrong
Clinical scenario tells loss of sensation of jaw and lower face denoting damage in mandibular division of trigeminal nerve pathway. Right sided hearing loss, tinnitus, Bera showing delay between wave 1 and 5 , mri showing lesion at inner meatal opening, histology showing antoni a and b areas all denotes right sided vestibular schwannoma. Sensory loss due to trigeminal nerve compression. Corneal reflex may be affected both due to involvement of opthalmic division of trigeminal and facial nerve. Here based on the options, A - cribriform plate , B - superior orbital fissure , C - foramen ovale, D - inner acoustic meatus.
Q2: mandibular nerve exits through foramen ovale that is option c in image.
Q1: clinical test showing negative can be both B and D (opthalmic nerve and facial nerve respectively).
B and C is not given in the option. D and c is given.
Hence the answer is option D.
Ans : (D) B - Superior orbital fissure
C- Foramen ovale
